This account is specifically designed for businesses requiring a medium volume of activity - more than 25 transactions but less than 100 transactions per month. This account can benefit a smaller business with higher activity levels. It is also helpful for a larger business with a smaller volume of transactions, wanting to simplify record keeping. Businesses of every size that keep compensating balances can eliminate the monthly maintenance fee. If your business has mid-range requirements, this is the choice for you. The requirements for the account are a minimum daily balance of $2,500 or an average daily balance of $5,000. If the balance requirements are not met, the monthly maintenance fee is just $12, with a $.25 activity fee for each item processed in excess of 100 items.
