United Southern Bank welcomed Andre Nacaxe as SVP and Senior Trust Officer last week. Prior to joining USB, Andre’s 15-year long career in Trust and Investment management, was spent working for a community bank in Illinois and a boutique firm in Florida.
Andre recently received his MBA from UCF and has his Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation (CTFA) from Cannon Financial Institute in 2011, a well-known trust school for existing trust officers. He grew up in Brazil and moved to the United States to pursue track and field at Boston University. Andre currently resides in Oxford with his wife and two children. He has been involved in the Sumter County Chamber, Rotary, and UF The Villages Hospital Foundation.
USB President Greg Nelson said, “Andre comes to us highly recommended from many professionals in the community. Without a doubt the most important thing is he’s a super nice guy and will fit in well with our team. He has shown a commitment to community involvement and volunteerism, which is extremely important at USB. We are really looking forward to having him here.”
Of his move to USB, Nacaxe said, “Everyone in the bank has welcomed me with great enthusiasm. I already feel part of the USB family. I look forward to start contributing to the growth of the trust and investment management team.”
