Installing the USB Remote Deposit Capture Software takes just a few minutes.

The online portal makes managing your deposits fast and convenient. USB Remote Deposit Capture scans your deposited checks, creating digital images of your check deposits. We then send them over a secure Internet connection for deposit into your United Southern Bank business account. USB Remote Deposit Capture retains copy of all deposits and checks to simplify your research needs. 

All you need is an Internet-connected Windows- based PC or Mac, a desktop scanner, and USB Remote Deposit Software (provided by USB).

Will my employee be able to effectively capture images?

YES. The product is EASY to use and takes less than an hour to learn the functionality. The capture process utilizes an application that walks the operator through the process step-by-step.

Is the system intrusive to my business environment?

NO. Your business needs a Mac or PC and an Internet connection. The system uses a low-volume scanner and takes a minimal amount of desk space. 

Does my business need to make changes to our checks or deposit slips? 

NO. Both long and short style checks may be used with this system. The use of deposit slips is optional. 

Can my business send deposits any time, day or night?

YES. Your business can send deposits any time day or night whatever is convenient for you. The Bank does not have to be open for your business to send a deposit. 

Can my other businesses with different account numbers in other locations make deposits in our bank?

YES. Deposits can be made to United Southern Bank, regardless of your merchant locations. 

Can this system install on multiple computers in multiple locations? 

YES. This system can be used at multiple business locations. The software providers breakout and summary reports across your enterprise.

Is this system expensive?

NO. Your United Southern Bank representative will work with you to tailor a plan to meet your business needs. 

Can security and transmission be controlled from one central office?

YES. The system supports a configuration that allows all locations to scan deposits directly into a central database for transmission to the bank. Security can be administered from a central location. 

How do we keep duplicate deposits from entering the process?

IT’S EASY. The Remote Deposit System has built-in duplicate image review for both the individual dollar amounts and duplicate file dollar amounts at capture. An added safety feature allows United Southern Bank to re-check for duplicates upon receipt of the deposit. 

Am I notified if there in an error in a deposit transmission?

YES, IMMEDIATELY. Your business will be notified of the deposit status immediately when United Southern Bank receives the deposit. At USB, the control center monitor displays any deposit containing errors in red, prompting action by the Bank. Your business will be notified of the problem’s resolution. 

Can this system interface with accounting or control software programs?

YES. A file is created on our business’s computer upon transmission of the deposit. This file can be used as input to an accounts receivable application or other existing merchant accounting systems.
