2027 USB Calendar High School Art Contest

 

United Southern Bank was proud to honor ten local high school artists at a reception and art exhibition on September 3rd. The reception was the culmination of the 2027 USB Calendar High School Art Contest that ran from December 2025 until May of 2026 for our annual community calendar.  The contest was open to high school students in Lake and Sumter Counties. Ten winners were selected and the winning artwork is featured in the 2027 calendar. Students received certificates and a monetary prize for their submissions. The winning pieces will be displayed at one of United Southern Bank’s 12 local branches for the next year. 

USB has supported the youth in our community for many years. This is just one more thing we could do to recognize their hard work and talents,” said Greg Nelson, president of United Southern Bank.

The USB calendar is a long-standing tradition, with more than 7,000 copies distributed annually to customers and community members throughout Central Florida. Calendars are now available free of charge at all of USB’s 12 local branches. Grab yours today!
