Jeanne Lazo is a Vice President of Residential Lending and a Branch Manager in the greater Villages and Tri-County area for United Southern Bank (USB), with over 35 years of experience.
Influenced by her mother, sister, and mother-in-law who are bookkeepers, Jeanne loves a good spreadsheet. Born in Florida, she attended school in Ocala, but she also attended school in Arizona and Saudi Arabia. While she also held interests in psychology and art therapy, it was the dynamic nature of finance and the ability to make a tangible difference in people's lives that truly resonated with her, leading her to a fulfilling career in banking.
She started in banking as a floater teller, a role she credits with giving her the perfect foundation to learn the industry from the ground up. Over the years, she’s gained substantial experience in many various aspects of banking, including opening a brand new branch location to managing The Villages and Lady Lake branches.
When the opportunity to join USB arose, Jeanne knew it was the right fit because she was drawn to the bank’s dedication to matching the right people with the right roles.

Outside of work, Jeanne enjoys spending time with her family and friends doing outdoor activities like boating, water sports, hiking, biking, and snowmobiling. She and her husband are dedicated to family and community, working with the Lady Lake Chamber of Commerce, Love in the Name of Christ, North Lake Presbyterian Church and the Ocala Elks.
Jeanne uses her creative background in her approach to banking, visualizing solutions others might miss and bringing fresh ideas to the table. Whether she’s guiding homebuyers or helping customers with their everyday banking needs, Jeanne makes the banking experience as seamless and rewarding as possible. Her ability to balance innovation with practicality makes her an integral part of USB’s branch and residential lending team.
