ELIGIBILITY
The United Southern Bank Mount Dora iPad Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the State of Florida who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. This drawing is conducted by United Southern Bank and is not open to the employees or family members of employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of United Southern Bank, its respective advertising and promotion agencies, or any of the respective affiliates, related entities, successors or assigns of any of the above. Void where prohibited by law.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins September 1, 2026, and ends November 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST.
All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible. Sponsor's designated records will serve as the official timekeeping method for the Sweepstakes.
HOW TO ENTER
Eligible participants may receive up to a total of six (6) entries into the Sweepstakes through the entry methods described below.
In-Person Entry – Five (5) Entries:
Visit the United Southern Bank Mount Dora Branch, located at 19010 US Highway 441, Mount Dora, Florida 32757, during regular business hours within the Sweepstakes Period and complete and submit one official Sweepstakes entry form. One completed in-person entry form will result in five (5) entries into the random drawing.
Limit one (1) in-person entry form per eligible person during the entire Sweepstakes Period.
Online Entry – One (1) Entry:
Visit www.unitedsouthernbank.com/mount-dora-sweepstakes-2026 during the Sweepstakes Period and complete and submit the online Sweepstakes entry form. One completed online entry form will result in one (1) entry into the random drawing.
Limit one (1) online entry per eligible person during the entire Sweepstakes Period.
An eligible participant may use both entry methods and therefore receive a maximum of six (6) entries into the Sweepstakes.
Entries generated by script, macro, bot or other automated means, or by any means that subvert the entry process, are prohibited. Duplicate entries exceeding the limits stated above may be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, illegible, fraudulent or otherwise do not comply with these Official Rules may be disqualified at Sponsor's discretion, subject to applicable law. All entries become the property of United Southern Bank and will not be returned.
ENTRANT INFORMATION AND MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used by United Southern Bank as reasonably necessary to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, communicate with entrants regarding the Sweepstakes and contact the potential winner. Entrants may be given the opportunity to separately elect to receive marketing communications from United Southern Bank. Consent to receive marketing communications is voluntary and is not required to enter or win the Sweepstakes. Declining to receive marketing communications will not affect an entrant's eligibility or chances of winning.
RANDOM DRAWING AND ODDS OF WINNING
On or about December 3, 2026, United Southern Bank will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Each eligible entry will have an equal chance of being selected. Because an eligible participant may receive five (5) entries through the in-person entry method and one (1) entry through the online entry method, a participant who completes both permitted methods of entry may have up to six (6) entries included in the random drawing. The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. The potential winner is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules before being declared the official winner.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
The potential winner will be contacted using the contact information provided on the applicable Sweepstakes entry form.
The potential winner must respond to United Southern Bank within five (5) business days of the initial notification attempt and may be required to provide reasonable proof of identity and eligibility and complete any documentation reasonably required by Sponsor.
If the potential winner cannot be contacted within the specified period, fails to respond, is determined to be ineligible, declines the prize or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, the potential winner may be disqualified, and Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.
Sponsor is not responsible for a potential winner's failure to receive notification because of inaccurate or incomplete contact information, spam or junk-mail filtering, changed contact information or other circumstances outside Sponsor's reasonable control.
PRIZE
One (1) prize will be awarded.
The prize consists of one (1) Apple iPad, 128GB, blue, with an approximate retail value of $482.68.
The prize must be picked up by the verified winner at the United Southern Bank Mount Dora Branch, 19010 US Highway 441, Mount Dora, Florida 32757, unless otherwise agreed to by Sponsor.
The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash. No prize substitution is permitted by the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Sponsor's reasonable control.
All federal, state and local taxes, if any, and any other costs or expenses associated with acceptance or use of the prize that are not expressly stated as being provided by Sponsor are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, affiliated with, or responsible for the administration of this Sweepstakes.
PUBLICITY
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for United Southern Bank to use the winner's name, likeness, photograph and/or image in connection with announcing and promoting the results of the Sweepstakes without additional compensation.
RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of United Southern Bank regarding the administration of the Sweepstakes, subject to applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless United Southern Bank and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from claims, damages, losses or liabilities arising out of or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize.
United Southern Bank is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, illegible, misdirected, delayed or undeliverable entries or communications; technical, hardware, software, network, internet or website failures; or other circumstances beyond Sponsor's reasonable control that may interfere with an entrant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes.
Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to limit or exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
United Southern Bank reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to disqualify any entrant who tampers with or attempts to manipulate the entry process, submits fraudulent information, violates these Official Rules or acts in a manner that disrupts or compromises the fair administration of the Sweepstakes.
If fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention or any other cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control materially affects the integrity, security, fairness or proper administration of the Sweepstakes, United Southern Bank reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the stated end date, Sponsor may select the winner by random drawing from among eligible entries received before the action giving rise to the termination, if appropriate and permitted by law.
Sponsor will not arbitrarily remove, reject, disallow or disqualify otherwise eligible entries.
The failure of Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
GOVERNING LAW
The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
