Rob Adrid

Robert "Rob" Adrid is the Senior Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking at United Southern Bank (USB), with nearly 40 years of experience in the banking industry.

Born and raised outside of Philadelphia, Rob grew up in a family focused on caring for others—his father was a surgeon and his mother was a nurse. His family frequently visited Merritt Island, Florida, before making it their permanent home. He graduated from Merritt Island High School in 1982.

Rob went on to attend the University of Florida, where he earned a bachelor's degree in finance. He began his banking career as a credit analyst in downtown Orlando. Upon completing a structured training program at a major financial institution, he transitioned into a lending role, spending two years in Ormond Beach before returning to Maitland. In 1996, Rob joined USB to lead its commercial lending efforts, eventually relocating to Lake County.

Rob values USB’s ability to offer flexible, creative lending solutions and emphasizes the bank's speed and agility compared to larger financial institutions.

"Every business, every deal, and every loan request is unique—that's what makes community banking so rewarding,” Rob says. “At USB we have the flexibility to be creative and move quickly.”

Beyond his professional career, Rob is deeply committed to community involvement. He dedicated nine years to the Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care Board, including serving as chair, and was appointed to the AdventHealth Waterman Foundation Board of Trustees in 2024. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two grown daughters.

In his role, Rob fosters meaningful connections with local entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and charitable initiatives. At USB, this community-first mindset translates into personalized lending solutions that support local growth, reinforcing the bank’s role as a trusted partner in Lake County and beyond.
