About Sunshine Community Trust

The Sunshine Community Trust was founded by the Board of Directors of United Southern Bank (USB) as a means to support local community and charitable organizations through the stewardship of generously donated funds that are designated in support of beneficial community causes. As a community bank, USB has partnered with and supported community-minded organizations and causes throughout its long rich history. The Sunshine Community Trust is a natural manifestation of USB's long-held values of community involvement, community service, and philanthropic support.

Since its founding, the Sunshine Community Trust has donated over $90,000 in support of scholarships for students at Lake Sumter State College and Lake Technical Institute.
